Consider Joining the Fulcrum Institute!

In the Fulcrum Institute you will be part of a school-based team devoted to improving science education. You will earn an equivalency of 12 semester hours ( 3 Tufts graduate credits) as you:

• Discover how scientists and students consider the same scientific phenomena,
• Further your understanding of key science concepts,
• Develop strategies for planning inquiry-based science in diverse classrooms,
• Learn to support science learning and conduct classroom research in your teaching,
• Become leaders of science in your school and district with the support of your school administrators and colleagues,
• Join a community of teachers and scientists devoted to improving science education.
