Consider Joining the Fulcrum Institute and
become a leader in Science Education!
In the Fulcrum Institute you will be part of a
school-based team devoted to improving science
education. You will earn an equivalency of 14 semester
hours (3.5 Tufts graduate credits) as you:
- Improve the quality of science education in schools
- Work towards a subsidized graduate degree
- Discover how scientists and students consider
the same scientific phenomena
- Further your understanding of key science
concepts
- Develop strategies for planning inquiry-based
science in diverse classrooms
- Learn to support science learning and conduct
classroom research in your teaching
- Become leaders of science in your school and
district with the support of your school
administrators and colleagues
